According to the Parkin Gallery catalogue, the work was exhibited at the Hamet Gallery, 1971 and the Penzance retrospective, 1976. If so, it was ex catalogue on each occasion.
This work, together with Rails (1936), suggest a brief flirtation with cubism, given the transparent overlapping planes, spatial ambiguities and, in the case of Corner, a false wood-grain effect.
